It will be busy busy busy - prime holiday period.
But ...
3V's is a huge area and right in the middle of the season everything should be open so people can spread out.
Avoid key lifts at key times such as ski school start etc.
Ask around on how to avoid crowds (La Masse tends to be quieter for example).
Ask about alternative lifts to avoid bottle necks.
Have an early, late or no lunch and make use of the time when most people are not skiing.

Apparently VT runs at 90% occupancy throughout the season so always fairly busy, but still a great resort ! and they are open(ish)

Cool, well we be staying in Hotel Tango which is now a langely owned hotel. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, as is right on the slopes.

Visitor numbers will be down right across the alps like they were last year, so while it will be busy it won't be ridiculous. The lift system is brilliant so I wouldn't worry.

I think Langley Ski are the Scandinavian company who I've seen at Grenoble airport doing meet and greet handing out bottles of water. (Which compares rather favourably with the usual rep with a clipboard)
Would be interested to hear how the holiday turns out.
