Does anybody know how many of the piste of Cervinia are covered by snow cannons?

No idea of the exact number, but as the resort is already open to mid station, I imagine it will be the lowest resort runs that are covered.

Was there in Feb 2011 and they had not had snow for several weeks of any note. The piste's were covered and groomed to perfection. One of best managed resorts I have been to.

Fantastic resort, huge ski areas and extremely snow sure with being at that altitude. I suspect they don't need to use the cannon much there with the snowfall there always is.
