Snow Forecast Summary - 13th October 2011

Following some respectable snow last weekend, winter has opted to tease us further - most of the Alpine region has seen clear skies and settled weather over the past few days. Although mild temperatures have returned to the Western Alps it has remained cool to the East.

European Weather and Snow This Coming Week

Temperatures look set to remain around the seasonal average, and below in the East, for the next few days at least - with fairly settled conditions continuing. The forecast models have been hinting at the possibility of another cold "snap" toward the end of next week but that's by no means clear just yet. We'll watch that with interest.
