I think there are some Austrian resorts that operate a system where you can track your daily milage

Hi Allan,
You can register with http://www.skiline.cc/home. They cover selected resorts in 7 countries, (not France), and you can click in your ski pass number for your resort. From this you can obtain daily km, daily altitude, see a video of your skiing in certain resorts.

There is an iPhone application that does it for some resorts.

There is an i-Phone application for the Three Valleys:
http://www.les3vallees.com/en/live/free-iphone-app.277/
Using its GPS capabilities, we discovered that during a normal carving run in a lesson we were doing 66 km/hr!
You can also use it to find the total number of kilometres you've skied in a day, as well (apparently) as extras like the 'find your friends' option. And it's free. You just download it off the 3 V's website (but it only works in the 3 V's of course).
