Skis

Next year season i am doing an 11 week instructors course in Big White.

What sort of skis would be recommended for a course like that? Bearing in mind they will probably need to be good general all rounders, be capable in powder and good on the piste as well.

Does anyone have experience of the same situation as me??

cheers
haha

I'd love to be on the slopes and see that

(as long as it wasnt me in it lol)

There are a few resorts up in the Abruzzo mountains, Pescocostanzo being one of the main ones and also Roccaraso. I have been to Pescocostanzo in the summer and its really nice, but obviously winter is very different so i cant comment.

Its more towards the Pescara side of Italy.

Try that, it shows a rough map of where it is etc.

Hope that helps?

There more than likely wont be snow in the Chamonix valley, but as most of its skiing is above 1800m it should be fine, even in April.
Short break

I heard that the best slopes for beginners in the Chamonix area were near Argentiere. but i have never been there, so i dont know for sure. Most of Chamonix's slopes are above about 1800m ish but there is still 2000m of verticle above that to be skied!! so not really the best place for a beginner, at all.
