I lost 5 lbs in Alpe d'Huez. I put that down to spending 2 days travelling without a proper meal and sleeping rough in Geneva airport.

I heard through the grapevine about a fella sleeping rough at Geneva airport .....
Kept mumbling in his sleep something about Neo. Must have seen too many Matrix movies.

Skinny fella too, I heard.

Sleep? We didnt actually manage any sleep. We did keep everyone else awake with our "Royle Family" impressions most of the night.

Look out Geneva airport, daughter and 3 mates are going out St Gervais this weekend. The attitude will be bad, clothes baggy and the music sick? whatever that means )
Ready? I was born ready.

I have no idea if I lost any weight whilst on holiday, but even if I did I would have put most of it back on by now having had to eat the contents of my defrosted freezer over the last few days :x

Loaded heaps of weight on in St A/Niederau, entirely alchohol related.

Have only had one glass of wine since returning, (to toast Tony's survival), and have lost 12 lb. Now below normal weight.

Three and a half weeks to go, before our Niederau re-union, ~ all saying how nice it will be, renewing friendships, no competitiveness, ......Aye RIGHT! Competition will be rife, not just among the old ski instructors, but now between generations!

Need to lose a bit more weight, and strengthen the knee.

Dave Mac,
How on earth did you manage to lost 12 Lbs? How clever of you

I have been struggling to lose weight for the last few weeks, and I've now managed to lose 5 Lbs, but it's been very difficult, because I am naturally gluttonous :D

I can get my old ski trousers on okay now, but I think I'm still going to wear my new cheap bigger salopettes because they've got more room for stretching and bending while ski-ing, and eating after ski-ing

I have definitely got a bit fitter because I can run now without thinking about how much my legs hurt and feeling like I'm going to have a heart attack - I can actually plan out my day in my head and run at the same time. So that's real progress.

How's everyone else getting on?

Caron,
I like this thread as well :D

Ally
