Does anybody know where I can get ski clothing for a 5' female - preferably not too expensive as I am a beginner, I have short arms aswell as short legs and I am a size 12 so I don't think the childrens sizes would fit too well.
Help in finding a jacket and trousers would be much appreciated.
Thank you

Hey Mag,
Not sure on your budget?
If you have a tog 24 near you it might be worth a look at the children's range there..
I know from a client who is your height, she found that the children's largest size is about the same as women's small. so she just dropped a size or so.
I'm not sure what quality it is, but it fitted her.
Good luck

I'm 5'3" and found a pair of snowboard pants that were supposed to be worn low slung with the waist hanging off your butt and the crutch halfway down to your knees. I found that by wearing them on the waist instead (they had adjustable tabs) they ended up the right length. The brand was Orage but I suspect it would work with most Snowboard brands:oops:

Hi Mag
I'm also 5' tall and I got my ski jacket (a Trespass) in TK Maxx. It's a kids age 11-12 (I'm anything between and 8 or a 10) but I think they also have ages 13-15 so you might find something there that would suit. Although it is aged 11-12 it's still really roomy and I can get a t-shirt and woolly jumper underneath. I've bought salopettes in Mountain Warehouse and Trespass (not kids sizes) and they have been ok for length. I tried on jackets and salopettes recently in Ellis Brigham and they were a really good fit, I think it was the Helly Hanson range. It's a bit more expensive though. Marks and Spencer may be another place to try - I've never bought ski stuff from there but they do different lengths in all their other clothing ranges. Remember that ski boots will help take a bit of the length. Hope this helps! :)

hi : :D ,did not say where you are from but you could try- Two Seasons, they have stores in the following places, cambridge, coventry, derby, leamington spa, leicester, lichfield, northampton, nottingham, peterborough, solihull, worcester. also nearer the season you can also buy ski jackets, gloves salopettes etc from certain aldi stores.
The clothing does not have to be expensive, the main thing is water repellancy and breathability whilst staying dry.
hope this is of some use .
have a great time .
