Job Opportunity - Fundraising Events Coordinator for Snow-Camp

Admin posted Nov-2011

Snow-Camp are looking for a Fundraising Events Coordinator.

Snow-Camp is an innovative youth charity that uses a unique combination of skiing, snowboarding and life-skills programmes to support inner-city young people.

Through the combination of snowsports and life-skills, our programmes enable young people to grow in confidence and self esteem, develop as individuals and make positive choices for their lives.

The Opportunity

An exciting role at Snow-Camp's Hove Office delivering our range of fundraising events, developing new events and engaging new supporters.

As traditional funding streams are becoming more challenging to access, fundraising events are becoming increasingly important to Snow-Camp.

We have been building these events up over recent years – with The Everest Challenge, Jump for Snow-Camp, City Drinks and Run for Snow-Camp and we are now looking for an exceptional person to join the Snow-Camp team to run these and new events in 2012!

For full details, see the Post and Job Description.

The deadline for applications is midday 9th December 2011. Interviews will be held at our Hove office on Monday 19th December 2011. We look forward to hearing from you. All details are on our website www.snow-camp.org.uk

They are making a terrific contribution. If they can achieve their aims, they will be introducing so many to skiing / snowsports.

I am lucky enough to ski in a resort that hosts Disability Snowsport, and it is a highlight to ski every year with their coaches and helpers, and of course the Sitskiers and associates.

Half of my life is devoted to helping young people into sport ~ I love it ~it is very satisfying ~ and it is great to see the results.
My new activity is currently working with two World Cup skiers on a Euro/USA young childrens project.

The person that gets the job as Fundraising Events Coordinator for Snow-Camp can look forward to a future that will be really rewarding to them.
